The MX2 season will begin with a race in Losail. Upgrading your bike is inexpensive and makes the career even more of a breeze. You won't be able to purchase all of these straight away, so focus on improving the exhaust first and foremost. Finally buy the 800 credit brake discs to improve your braking power. These don't need to be immediately purchased. Each suspension will likely be available for 2,500 credits. For the rims, buy whichever you like that is 700 credits. For tires, they are all pretty much the same so just buy one for 500 credits to improve your handling. Eventually you'll want the 4,000 credit exhaust to improve your acceleration and speed, but you can settle for the 2,500 credit option for now and return when you have more credits.
MXGP3 XBOX ONE UPGRADE
Generally just pick the most expensive option and this will upgrade your motorbike to the greatest extent. The upgrading system in this game is rather straightforward. Scroll along until you get to the exhaust (the prior options are all cosmetic) and you'll see a variety of different options from several companies.

You'll be in the garage where you can pimp your ride. Now go back and select Customise > Bike > MX2 > 250cc 4-stroke and find your chosen manufacturer among the options. During the course of these two races, you'll definitely unlock the following achievements for falling and using the rewind feature: You only need to win one of the two races to unlock the relevant career mode achievement for the course, but obviously once the season begins we'll want to win both races in order to win the Grand Prix (to contribute to a later achievement) and gain as many points as possible for the Championship. Don't fret though as this track will appear again during your MX2 and MXGP seasons. It's unlikely that you'll win either race here as your bike and rider skills won't be at a good enough level yet. By skipping qualifying and only doing two races we'll save time, but this will come at the minor cost of your rider having to start on the outer edge of the starting line.
MXGP3 XBOX ONE SERIES
This won't be a part of any series and will serve as a warm-up to allow you to get used to how the bikes handle and what to expect from the tracks. There are loads of customisation options for your rider and motorbike but I'd urge you to save your credits unless I tell you to spend them at a certain point in the walkthrough. However this really doesn't matter as there is very little need to spend them during the season beyond upgrading your bike (which requires a pitiful amount of credits to max out). With these race options on you'll only receive a total bonus of 30% additional credits. It'll make the game a lot easier.Ĭredits are used to customise your rider and motorbike, alongside purchasing additional motorbikes. The options below should be the default but make sure to compare them to what the game is showing you.

After making your decision, select 'next race' and go into 'race options'. They all have the same criteria and that is to finish in the top 15. Continue on and you can select from one of three sponsors. CareerĪfter a brief cinematic you'll be introduced to your personal manager who will explain the sponsor system and the current situation, to receive an offer from an MX2 team you'll need to impress in the upcoming wildcard races.

With all that over with, let's go into single player and start the career. Do so if you want, but the game is incredibly simple to get a hang of.

You'll then be asked whether you'd like to look at the tutorial pages (there is no actual in-game tutorial). Your choice really doesn't matter, so choose whichever manufacturer you like the look of.
MXGP3 XBOX ONE FREE
After creating your rider you'll be brought to a screen where you can select a free motorbike from one of the seven manufacturers in the game. Once you load the game up for the first time, you'll be prompted to create a rider.
